Word started going around about Parrett last season and he has already featured for the England Under 16s this season. Some even suggested that he may make the first team this year making him the youngest QPR player since Frank Sibley.
Alas the mighty dollar has come calling and he will no go and be a small fish in a big pond at Tottenham.
It`s understandable that the club have had to accept this offer, and it`s probably enabled us to keep our better players this January giving us a better chance of staying up, but it hurts to lose your brightest prospect. The fact that Rangers decided to announce it to the fans by copying a statement from the Tottenham Official Site about what a wonderful deal this is for them and how helpful we`ve been just rubs salt in the wounds.
Of course we wish Dean the best of luck at Tottenham and hope to see him go on to bigger and better things in the future.
