Dynamic winger Jobi McAnuff has been pinpointed by Vital QPR as the One to Watch as the Rs travel to the Madjeski for an npower Championship televised clash on Friday.

Name: Jobi McAnuff

Date of Birth: 09/11/1981

Former Clubs: Wimbledon, West Ham, Cardiff City, Crystal Palace, Watford

Appearances (Goals): 370 (39)

29 year old Jobi McAnuff is certainly a full backs worst nightmare, and the Rs defence will have to be at their best to keep the mercurial winger quiet. The Reading number 11 will be looking to help push Reading into the playoff positions and helping The Royals beat Championship leaders QPR will certainly aid their playoff hopes.

Jobi began his career with Wimbledon, making his professional debut in the 2001/02 season and going on to make 104 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals – eventually earning a move to West Ham United. He scored his first goal for the Hammers in their 4-2 victory over Crewe in March 2004, however his spell at Upton Park was somewhat cut short as he joined Cardiff City for £250 000 later that year.

The following season, after 43 league appearances and 2 goals, he joined home town club Crystal Palace for a fee of £600 000. He thrived at Selhurst Park and a string of impressive performances led to interest from other clubs. He stayed at Palace for two years making over 75 appearances, before joining Watford for a fee of around £1.75 million.

The winger endured a slow start to his career at Watford, however soon forced his way into the team and became a prominent figure in the Championship side. After Watford manager Brendon Rogers had departed to Reading, McAnuff soon followed joining The Royals in August 2009. He coincidentally made his debut against Watford and has gone on to make over 50 appearances for the club scoring 6 league goals.

Recognised as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Championship, Warnock, who declared an interest in the player prior to the 2010/2011 campaign, will certainly be aware of the threat McAnuff poses.
