Graham Scott from Oxfordshire will take charge of Rangers’ trip to Leicester City this weekend.

Mr Scott joined the National List of officials in 2008 and the young official made a quick impression and has such been rewarded with more Championship clashes to date.

This game will mark his first Championship game of the current campaign and his eighth overall – taking charge of a selection of fixtures last season.

In 30 games last campaign he dished out 69 yellow cards and eight reds – giving him an average of 2.57 cards per game.

On Saturday he will be assisted by Tony Horton (West Midlands) and Nigel Smith (Derbyshire), with the fourth official Mr Guy Stretton (Leicestershire).

Refereeing Rangers

Mr Scott has taken charge of Rangers once before – in his first ever Championship fixture – as Rangers hosted underperforming Norwich City in 2009.

A drab, dour display saw Rangers slump to a disappointing home defeat as Darel Russell’s effort slipped through Radek Černý to condemn QPR.
