Rangers take on Sheffield United in the FA Cup and a date for the fixture has now been set.
Owing to Sheffield Wednesday also being drawn at home, to Crystal Palace, the R’s clash with the Blades has been moved to Sunday January 3.
This comes at the request of the South Yorkshire police who evidently view the congestion in the city and the policing of both fixtures would over-stretch their resources.
The game will kick off at 3.00pm as per usual, and ticket details are to be announced in due course.
