Queens Park Rangers youngsters Joe Oastler and Lee Brown have extended their stay at Blue Square Premier side Salisbury City.

The defensive duo have already featured heavily in Tommy Widdrington’s cash-strapped side, and their presence will be all the more important given the Whites’ transfer embargo.

They have extended their stay by an extra month, until Sunday December 20 as Salisbury look to clamber away from the Blue Square Premier drop-zone.

Left-back Lee Brown has started ten times for Salisbury, receiving a red card in their FA Cup fixture against Farnborough.

Versatile defensive player Joe Oastler has made seven appearances for the Whites in total, and has proven himself adaptable playing in both midfield and defence.

The latter contracted a bout of Swine Flu, which has forced him to miss a couple of recent fixtures, but is now due to line-up for the Wiltshire outfit against Crawley Town.
