Lee Camp is set to join Nottingham Forest on loan with a view to a permanent transfer at the end of the campaign.

The Camp situation has been simmering under the surface for quite a while now, and was brought at the weekend when he made some ill-timed remarks about his want to join Nottingham Forest. This came after his error cost the R`s two much needed points at the City Ground and bolstered the Tricky Trees chances of survival.

But it has been revealed by Vital QPR contributor, Ben Kosky of the Kilburn Times that the former Derby stopper has worked out his prior differences with Billy Davies and is set to return to the City Ground on an initial loan deal. The deal will be completed on the premise that Camp will join them on a permanent basis at the end of the campaign.

It seems that co-owner Flavio Briatore will finally get his wish of moving on the former fans favourite after trying to offload him in the Autumn against the wishes of then boss Iain Dowie.

With Camp set to depart Rangers will be left with Radek Cerny and Jake Cole to fight it out for the number one jersey, with youngsters Reece Crowther and Nik-Lee Bulmer waiting in the wings.
