QPR have announced that Adam Bolder has been allowed to join Millwall until 6th December 2008. This must be an initial loan move, because the club have also given their permission for him to play for Millwall in their FA Cup tie against Chester City, to be played this weekend.

Bolder has made only the solitary first team appearance for the Rs this season, in the Carling Cup against Carlisle, although he has featured regularly in the Reserves. He played regularly for the Rs last season, until the start of January: he made his last first team appearance for us against Leicester (which we won 3-1). Bolder scored one of our goals that afternoon.

Then, in February, he joined Sheffield Wednesday on a three-month loan but was not able to make the deal permanent in the summer and returned to Loftus Road, hoping to impress the new boss, Ian Dowie.

Bolder clearly does not fit in to anybody`s plans at the clubs and I am sure we will see him make a permanent move to another club, possibly staying on at Millwall, once the January transfer window opens.

If this is the case, I would like to place on record my thanks to Adam – he certainly helped keep us afloat in the 2006/2007 season (when relegation looked certain until the last couple of games of the season). I hope that he finds success – wherever he needs to go to do so!
