Queens Park Rangers have made no less than nine summer signings – which one is your favourite?

Adel Taarabt: The Moroccan marvel is no stranger to Rangers supporters and is already lighting up the Championship with his breath-taking skill, combined with a renewed motivation and vigour.

His eye for goal has proven effective thus far as well, along with bringing others into play – leading him to be named interim skipper by boss Neil Warnock.

Paddy Kenny: Kenny has already got his hardest test out of the way in the shape of a visit to former club Sheffield United – unfortunately for them he was in inspired form in an excellent 3-0 win.

An eccentric ‘keeper, Kenny has shown both sides of his game this season, with some unorthodox stops as well as some stunning saves keeping Rangers at the summit of the Championship.

Leon Clarke: Has played a bit-part role in proceedings thus far, and is being billed as Neil Warnock’s ‘gamble’ for the summer transfer window, given his release from League One side Sheffield Wednesday.

While play at times has not been vintage he showed glimpses of his capabilities against Derby County with a couple of useful low crosses along with his assist for the R’s first goal in that instance.

Jamie Mackie: Some might argue that this lad has been nothing short of a revelation since joining from Plymouth. His frankly impeccable work rate has instantly won over any doubters, and appears to be an expert goal poacher with three already this season.

Mackie will prove an invaluable squad player and with fitness levels such as this it will be difficult to keep him away from the line-up.

Clint Hill: Tough, uncompromising and definitely required – Hill is the first left-back to instil confidence in QPR fans for many years with his no-nonsense stylings.

The former Stoke City and Crystal Palace man is a rock at full-back and can also slot in at the centre of defence when required, making him the versatile and reliable defender that Rangers have required for so long.

Shaun Derry: In the autumn of his career but nevertheless fans can already see the benefit of having a player like Derry not only in the side, but in an around the set-up.

The combative midfielder has put in some stern challenges this season to help both he and Alejandro Faurlín dominate the midfield battle on several occasions. Definitely a useful squad player as the season progresses.

Bradley Orr: An out and out right back that can tackle, pass and cross – how we have missed a player of this calibre for some time.

He has looked at home from day one as he links up well with his team-mates and operates as part of an effective defensive unit. Orr will prove to be a key figure in what will be a busy season for him, should be a virtual ever present.

Tommy Smith: Evidently yet to feature, but fans of the Championship – particularly supporters of Derby and Watford – will know what this lad is capable of doing to defences.

Smith is a wide-man that likes to roam inside and look for goal – something he has done successfully in the Championship, and it is easy to see how he would slot into Warnock’s current system.

Rob Hulse: ?and the supporters cried Hallelujah! A tough centre-forward that can win the ball in the air with a proven Championship track record and the pedigree for success.

While Heidar Helguson has held the fort effectively, it was clear that Rangers needed this extra player to bolster their striking options and in Hulse Warnock has made a fine choice taking into account his experience at this level.
