Romone Rose has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at Loftus Road.

The Rangers youth product will remain at QPR until the summer of 2011 and follows in the footsteps of several fellow youngsters including Joe Oastler and Lee Brown who all committed themselves to QPR a few weeks ago.

The 19-year-old made three first team appearances for QPR last season which included away defeats at Burnley, Barnsley and Doncaster.

Romone has come through the Rangers youth ranks and wowed the coaches with his talent at such a tender age. The youngster born in Reading helped the Rangers Under 18`s take the title by 7 points over nearest rivals Gillingham. The 42 point total was helped along by Romone`s goals.

Manager of AFC Wimbledon, Terry Brown, saw enough in young forward Rose to take him on loan, and in 14 appearances for the Dons, Romone scored 4 goals. In his short spell at Kingsmeadow Brown saw enough to want to sign the young R`s forward and they were believed to be preparing a bid for Rose.

Romone made his debut for the R`s on the final game of the 2007/08 season as the R`s fell at home to Champions West Bromwich Albion, 2-0, as he came on as a late substitute on the left-flank.
