Moroccan marvel Adel Taarabt once again has his future at Tottenham Hotspur under the spotlight – but should QPR meet Harry Redknapp’s sizeable valuation?

Another stunning display from Taarabt saw him lay on countless chances for others while giving Preston defenders a torrid time in a pulsating clash at Deepdale.

Neil Warnock revealed post-match that at present Harry’s valuation of the midfielder is just short of £5m – something that the R’s boss is seemingly unprepared to match.

Whether this price-tag would waver with a piece of negotiation from Warnock remains to be seen, but the player’s ideas couldn’t be further from Loftus Road at present.

Taarabt has his heart in either Spain or France, where he believes he’ll have more freedom to play his football – evidently frustrated by the physical nature of the English game.

It is clear to see however that QPR boss Warnock has made an impression on Adel and has given him the right incentives to turn in the calibre of performances we’re seeing from him in recent times.

He will be a big loss next season if Rangers cannot perform miracles and retain his services, with the likes of Ákos Buzsáky having to step up and roll-back the years to fill a sizeable void.

It begs the question therefore – if Warnock can entice Taarabt to stay at Loftus Road, how much do you think would be acceptable for a player of his class and influence.

On Vital QPR there has been voting and conversation about the valuation of the Moroccan, and his stock can have only increased since the original post was created. >>>

The majority seem to think that a bank-breaking bid is suitable and if rumours are to be believed then it would only take up half of Warnock’s summer budget.
