Queens Park Rangers are being linked with Newcastle United wide-man Wayne Routledge, a former stalwart from last season.

A fantastic talent in Rangers’ excellent run last campaign, Routledge could be set to be reunited with QPR if reports in today’s Mirror are to be believed.

The wide-man contributed three goals in 44 appearances for the R’s while laying on a glut of assists for the likes of Jay Simpson last season.

Signing from Aston Villa he injected some much-needed pace and skill down the right flank, and latterly as part of a dynamic front-four.

His contribution was vital to see Newcastle United to promotion, but appearances in the top flight have been fleeting and Neil Warnock is set to plump for the winger on loan.

Would this be a good move for Rangers? – Let us know!
