New Queens Park Rangers capture Tommy Williams has spoken of his delight to return to W12.
The left-back who has had two previous loan spells at Loftus Road, penned a months loan with the club today and was happy to be back.
‘I’m really excited,’ Tommy told QPR.co.uk
‘I enjoyed my time here previously and I can’t wait to pull on the jersey and hopefully cement my place in the side.
‘There’s a very strong squad of players here, but the club’s ambitions match my own and I genuinely believe we can build on the fantastic start the lads have made to the season.’
The defender who has made two successful returns to Loftus Road with Peterborough, contributing two assists in two 1-1 draws, is now looking to earn himself a permanent deal with his contract up in the summer.
Tommy is a Cypriot international, and has helped Darren Ferguson’s Peterborough United to back to back promotions from League Two to the Championship.
He is eligible to play in the FA Cup for QPR should they avoid the Posh in the Third Round draw.
