Five Reasons To Focus

Yaya Toure: With the way our midfield has been overrun so far this season I fear for the worst when we play City especially when Yaya Toure is starting. Pace, power, skill and an eye for goal, Toure has it all. Last season he scored 13 goals in 43 games.

David Silva: Arguably one of City`s most important players, David Silva is a fine footballer. He is an intelligent player, capable of turning a game on its head in an instant. Silva racked up 8 goals and 22 assists last season.

Vincent Kompany: Like many I really rate Kompany and think he is the best centre back in the league. A Mark Hughes signing from a few years back, the Belgian international has developed into a world class player. Last season Kompany made 40 appearances and scored 3.

Joe Hart: England`s first genuine world class keeper since David Seaman, Joe Hart is one of the top goalkeepers in the world. He was instrumental in their quest for the league title last year and will look to produce similar performances this campaign.

Carlos Tevez: Much maligned and criticised last season for his impromptu exile back to Argentina, Tevez showed the darker side to his personality. However, he returned just in time and contributed to City`s last-ditch attempt for the title. This summer he has come back leaner and hungry for success. Already he has scored 3 in 3 appearances in all competitions.
