Lots of QPR fans have had their say over the future of Conor Masterson, with many fans believing that he is needed now.
The Irish centre half has featured in two games for Rangers over the past few weeks, and given the defensive problems which are apparent, many now think he can’t be allowed to leave.
The former Liverpool player played 45 minutes in the club’s 3-1 loss to Brentford and also played the full game as QPR knocked Swansea out of the FA Cup, per Transfermarkt.
However, despite his recent performances, a week or so ago coach Mark Warburton revealed that there is a “very good chance that he could go on loan” if the right opportunity lends itself.
Does the state of our defence worry you?
Yes
No
Rangers fan @JoshyNewcombe tweeted about the situation saying: “why are we sending Masterson out on loan?”, to which lots of fans responded.
As you can see from the replies below, lots think that the 21-year-old is needed for the second half of the season and that that it would be foolish to allow him to depart.
Here are some of the replies below…

Putting him in this defence in front of Lumley could destroy him

Agreed from what I’ve seen he looks more comfortable than either Hall or Cameron at CB.

With QPR having the second-worst defence in the entire division despite being just seven points shy of the play-offs, it’s clear that something is needed to be done to prevent more goals being conceded.
Whether Masterson is the answer is another question, but he deserves an opportunity as what’s happening at the moment isn’t working.
