Neil Warnock is chasing Plymouth front-man Jamie Mackie – but he’s not alone in his pursuit
The 24-year-old forward scored eight goals last term for relegated Argyle and Rangers along with other clubs vie for his signature.
Warnock has confirmed his interest to Herald Sport by stating: ‘He’s one of a number of players we are looking at. Other than that, I haven’t got anything else to say on the subject.’
It hasn’t been plain sailing for him at Plymouth, as he has scored 16 times in 102 appearances – playing both wide and through the middle.
Sheffield United, Derby County and Barnsley are also rumoured to be chasing the Pilgrims marksman, as Plymouth have already started outlining replacements.
