Neil Warnock has failed to distance himself from speculation linking him with the managerial hot-seat at Loftus Road.

The Crystal Palace boss stated that while nothing has happened yet, there may be a decision to make if Rangers were to make an approach to the administrator at Selhurst Park.

Warnock told cpfc.co.uk that his situation at Palace is anything but stable, but until the moment Rangers approach the administrator he is happy in SE25.

‘It is not really a distraction. I think I have been linked around 15 times over the years with them [QPR] and every time they have changed managers,’ he said.

‘It is one of things that happens. It [his position at Palace] is very insecure at the moment. It is not a very nice situation that we find ourselves in and we will just have to do the best we can with what we have got at the minute.

‘I won’t pay any attention until they actually speak to the club, that goes for anybody …[until] then my job is solely here and looking at these games coming up.’

The terse comments suggests that while Rangers are yet to make a formal approach, it is not something that the manager is averse to as once again he refuses to distance himself from the job.
