Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock has spoken of his delight to finally secure the services of Adel Taarabt.

The Moroccan international today penned a three-year deal with QPR and is expected to go straight into the squad to face Barnsley this weekend.

Speaking to QPR.co.uk Neil Warnock was more than pleased that his pursuit of Taarabt had finally paid dividends.

‘He’s a player with a unique talent that can win games and that’s what we’re hoping that he does,’ he said.

‘I’ve told him that I think it’s in his best interests at his age to play games.

‘I think that he could pull the hair out of a few Managers’ heads, and I’m sure I’ll have my moments this year!

‘But that’s part of the challenge. You’ve got to focus more on his good points, rather than what he doesn’t do.’

Warnock even hinted at further deals in the coming days indicated that he has a couple more targets prior to the opening day against Barnsley.
