Neil Warnock has helped out former club Plymouth Argyle with a pre-season friendly at Loftus Road.

Argyle’s pre-season preparations have been scuppered by the fact they can’t play on the pitch at Home Park, with Warnock doing his former club a favour.

The game – which is priced at a reasonable £5.00 – also sees ex-Pilgrims Jamie Mackie and Ákos Buzsáky feature against their former club.

Warnock told QPR.co.uk of his willingness to help Argyle in their time of need: ‘I am more than happy to help out my former Club and, in doing so, add an extra fixture to our own pre-season campaign,’ he said.

‘I am sure the London Branch of the Plymouth Argyle Supporters’ Club will be particularly happy with this match!

‘I look forward to welcoming them to Loftus Road.’

Rangers have now completed their pre-season schedule and just like last year have a League One side at the top of the billing.
