Gary Waddock has said that the club must be patient in waiting for clubs to come in with offers for the transfer listed players.

Marc Bircham, Steve Lomas, Ian Evatt, Marcus Bignot, Stefan Moore, Tommy Doherty and Ugo Ukah have all been placed on the transfer list to help cut costs at the club and for now Waddock is playing a waiting game.

He said: ‘Them lads are under contract and you are probably looking towards pre-season for more interest in our players.

‘That is the time that managers look at their squad and think they might need to strengthen one or two areas.

‘I’ve got to be patient with regards the lads under contract. If they are still at the club and working hard I will consider them so there is a lot to play for.’

VITAL QPR understand that an unnamed League 2 club are interested in securing Ukah’s signature whilst there has been plenty of interest in Bircham.

Sheffield Utd, Birmingham and West Brom have all been mentioned but as yet no offers have been made.

Doherty is likely to return to the south-west and a move back to Bristol City or Yeovil may be on the cards should either club offer a reasonable package.

Moore meanwhile has attracted various League 1 clubs but none are likely to gamble on the former Aston Villa striker, and they will prefer a loan deal.

Ian Evatt has also caught the eye of a host of League 1 clubs and a move back north should be concluded before the start of pre-season.

Marcus Bignot though has claimed he wants to stay and fight for his place at Loftus Road after Gary Waddock told him he may still have a role on the playing side.
