Rowan Vine seems primed for the exit door at Loftus Road after Neil Warnock admitted he’d have some difficult decisions to make.

The striker, who was a revelation upon arrival in January 2008, has struggled to make an impact on the side following a horror leg-break in training.

Opportunities last season were few and far between under a succession of bosses, with the only stumbling block surrounding his departure appearing to be his wages.

The Hammersmith and Fulham Chronicle are reporting that Vine is on wages nearing the 16k mark – an issue for any club at this level.

Manager Neil Warnock told the paper that difficult decisions would have to be made if Rangers are to achieve promotion next season.

‘It’s been difficult for Viney – and that`s coming from someone who admired him a lot in the past.

‘But we may have to make some tough decisions in getting it right for QPR so we can have a go at promotion.’

There can be little question that the training collision with Matt Pickens has ultimately scuppered Vine’s progress at Rangers, as he prepares to rebuild his career.
