Striker Rowan Vine will travel with the squad to Slovenia but will play no part in Wednesday`s friendly against NK Celje.
Vine took to the field at half time against Aldershot at the weekend only to be forced off with a hamstring complaint and subsequently replaced by Antonio German.
The striker had only recently recovered from a broken leg but boss Jim Magilton was quick to quash speculation that it was a long-term injury.
‘It’s a very slight hamstring strain,” Jim told QPR.co.uk
‘He’ll travel to Slovenia with the rest of the squad, where we’ll monitor his progress.
‘He’ll miss Wednesday’s friendly, but could be back for the match on Sunday.’
QPR take on Slovenian outfit NK Celje on Wednesday before travelling to Croatia to face recently promoted side NK Karlovac on Saturday, the latter being Vine`s target to continue his pre-season progress.
