According to local newspaper, the London Informer`s website, Rowan Vine could play his first competitive match for Rangers next Wednesday, 18th March 2009, in a Reserve Team fixture against fellow Londoners, Charlton Athletic.

Vine has also apparently targeted the Crystal Palace match on 4th April (at Loftus Road) for his First Team comeback – but that, of course, will depend on how well he comes through next week`s game, assuming he plays. And then there is the little matter of convincing both the Physio, Paul Hunter, and First Team Coach, Paulo Sousa, that he is ready for First Team action.

As you are all very aware by now (and, if not, where have you been this past year?!!), I will be one incredibly happy Ranger should Vine play for us against Palace – or any of the final home games of this season!
