Reports today (Friday) suggest that Neil Warnock is eyeing Barnsley full-back Rob Kozluk.

The Tykes defender spent eight years under Warnock’s guidance at Sheffield United and the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle believe that a reunion is in the offing.

The worrying aspect from the R’s fans perspective could be the future of defender Dusko Tosic who has impressed during his brief spell in W12.

Should Rangers seek to sign Kozluk – a bit part player for Barnsley – it’s difficult to see where this leaves the Tosic deal with Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested in the Serbian.

It remains to be seen whether this deal comes to fruition but the question will remain as to whether this significantly improves the Rangers set-up in this current state.
