Two Signings In One Day For QPR – Does Our Season Change Here

|

With four straight defeats for Queens Park Rangers in the Championship campaign of 2018/19, we were promised loan captures and earlier today we brought in Brighton and Hove Albion striker Tomer Hemed. The Israeli international has tonight been joined by Burnley’s Nahki Wells.

The 28-year-old was also linked with a switch to Loftus Road on a loan deal in recent times and the Bermuda-born player signed on the dotted line for the rest of the season a few hours back.

Like Hemed, he has a good record at Championship level and plenty of experience and his three years with Huddersfield Town saw him get into double figures each year as he notched up 48 goals in 152 appearances.

It’s certainly proven to be a brighter day for many and the club did need to back up the loan strengthening promise and plenty will give them a little extra credit for doing it so quickly, but again this is now two of a few needed to bolster the group properly for the challenges to come.

Let’s see what else happens ahead of the next match.
