Queens Park Rangers take on NK Celje this evening (Wednesday) and have named a trialist in their starting line-up.

Defender Ivan Gvozdenovic will play alongside Matthew Connolly, Kaspars Gorkss and Peter Ramage in the back four. The 30-year-old former FYROM international can play both in defence and midfield and has had previous spells with Dinamo Bucharest and Club Brugge.

Alejandro Faurlín also makes his first start in a Rangers shirt, but no word has been forthcoming on his international clearance as he starts alongside Mikele Leigertwood in the heart of the midfield. Wayne Routledge and Angelo Balanta also start with Heidar Helguson and Patrick Agyemang in an attacking QPR line-up.

In reserve Rangers also have defensive Lee Brown and Joe Oastler but trialist Martin Lejsal doesn`t make the bench with Latvian youngster Elvijs Putnins deputising for starting stopper Radek Cerny, with fellow trialist David Connolly also left out with a view to Saturday.

QPR: Radek Cerny, Peter Ramage, Ivan Gvozdenovic, Matthew Connolly, Kaspars Gorkss, Mikele Leigertwood, Wayne Routledge, Angelo Balanta, Heidar Helguson, Alejandro Faurlin, Patrick Agyemang.

Substitutes: Joe Oastler, Elvijs Putnins, Lee Brown, Gary Borrowdale, Gavin Mahon, Matteo Alberti, Gareth Ainsworth.
