Queens Park Rangers have announced their latest partnership with a Japanese brand.

Those eagle-eyed supporters looking around Loftus Road in the victory against Barnsley will have spotted new advertising banners around the ground entitled ‘toyo’.

The deal was engineered by the club’s Global Ambassador, Mrs Yuko Yamazaki, and Deputy Managing Director Ali Russell believes it can only be positive for the club.

‘We’re absolutely thrilled to be entering a partnership with an exciting Japanese brand,” he told QPR.co.uk.

‘This deal represents a great branding opportunity for both parties and we’re really looking forward to working closely with Toyo’s representatives over the coming months.’

A spokesperson for Toyo was equally as happy that a deal has been struck:

‘QPR are one of the oldest Football Club’s in the World and are extremely well known for their unique style.

‘We felt that the Club’s ambition represented us with a perfect opportunity to align our brand.’
