QUEENS Park Rangers look set to rest three ahead of the Milton Keynes Dons clash

Neil Warnock has already placed an importance on the FA Cup this campaign following the disappointment of the Carling Cup exit at home to Rochdale.

The R’s gaffer made wholesale changes for the fixture as Rangers were dumped out unceremoniously by League One Dale.

At this time last year Rangers made it 15 FA Cup games without a win, completing a decade of woe against Premier League side Blackburn Rovers – an under-strength side going down 1-0 on the day.

Armand Traoré (calf), Fitz Hall (hamstring) and Jay Bothroyd (back) all missed out against Norwich City and look set to sit matters out once more.

Warnock will have a decision to make on who to play between the sticks with Paddy Kenny only making a return from injury against the Canaries and Radek Cerny in imperious form against Arsenal.

Loanee Federico Macheda looks to make his first start in a QPR shirt with the Ealing Gazette pairing him with another striker in much-need if game time DJ Campbell.

Warnock can also pick from a pool of players not in the 25-man squad which means the likes of Hogan Ephraim, Petter Vaagan Moen, Rob Hulse and Dan Shittu are available to come back into the fold.
