This Man Makes His Mark As QPR Slip To Disappointing Defeat

|

Despite a battling effort, manager Steve McClaren saw his Queens Park Rangers boys slip to defeat in last Saturday’s clash with Hull City.

Welcoming Nigel Adkins’ side to Loftus Road for the game, the visitors quickly took a six minute lead and upon doubling their advantage Pavel Wszolek managed to hit back to keep the game alive. Hull added a third and Luke Freeman’s stoppage-time second wasn’t enough to bring us back to level terms.

Having had more possession and the greater chances, there will be huge disappointment at not taking a point but it means there are still positives that can be taken from the match and I’m sure that’s how the gaffer will see it.

26-year-old Freeman’s own performance saw him take Whoscored’s Man of the Match with a rating of 7.80 from the game and the top five best performers on the day were completed by Angel Rangel, Ebere Eze, Wszolek and Nahki Wells.
