“This is the way the world ends”- Many QPR fans left stunned by these rather bizarre statistics

Well, these certainly are quirky little statistics.

Whether or not it means anything significant or substantial, we’ll just have to wait and see, but it’s nice to have a little laugh every now and again to try and make us forget our poor run of form. Quite what sparked him into doing the research into this I’m not 100% sure, but I’m sure glad he did because it makes for some fascinating reading.

QPR fan @J_J_Burke looked at where QPR have been after 32 games in each of the past few seasons, just to see where the current team compares against them, and the results were a little bit shocking to say the least.

It turns out that QPR have performed pretty much the same in the past three seasons, with 32 games yielding 39 points and a -9 goal difference in 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20, which is a level of consistency that has to be admired, even if it’s not towards the top of the table.

Although I’m not sure if admiration was on the minds of all the QPR fans that saw these stats.

How many points will QPR get this month?

0-5

6-12

13-18
