Queens Park Rangers made it an unbeaten October in the Championship with last Friday evening’s 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at Loftus Road.
As we are about to tick into November, four wins and one draw – with three straight victories and clean sheets have seen us move comfortably into tenth place in the table and with us now having 23 points, we are two shy of the Play-Off spots.
Summer signing Angel Rangel has more than played his part in that and as the former Swansea City player turned 36-years-old on Sunday, a number of fans again called for him to get a deal extension until the end of the 2018/19 season given his performances and effort for us so far.

What a really nice guy, let's hope we offer him a contract extension soon ????????????⚪️????⚪️

Sign this man on a longer deal!

As you can imagine, that’s only a small section of the comments calling for a new deal, but something else took my attention as well. The club launched their Player of the Month vote on social media, and Rangel dominated the responses – even though he didn’t actually feature in said vote.
