With southernhoop unavailable this week, the pressure is on me to find you a winning combination, as southernhoop’s tips came in last week and mine only got very close!
This week I’ve picked one match from the four divisions and one from the BSQ…..
Aston Villa v Wolves (HOME)
Surely Wolves can’t win two Saturday away games on the trot? Nailed on home win here.
Notts Forest v Peterborough (HOME)
Stranger things have happened, but will Peterborough spoil Forest’s home record? In a nutshell, no, unless Forest produce their away form.
MK Dons v Southampton (AWAY)
Ok, so Saints aren’t too clever away from home, but the inconsistent Dons I reckon will feel the backlash of Saints away defeat at the hands of lowly Tranmere. Bit of a gamble this one.
Cheltenham v Port Vale (AWAY)
Cheltenham scored six away from home last week, but conceded five in the process and Port Vale ran riot away from home too without conceding. Likely to end up as a 7-7 draw but I’m going to do a Gladstone (copywrite southernhoop) and go for Vale winning away again.
Wrexham v Cambridge Utd (HOME)
Brave one this. Cambridge have won their last four, and Wrexham haven’t won any of their last six. A Cambridge win would be their third away win on the spin, but I’m tipping Wrexham to stop the rot.
