Andrew Madley from West Yorkshire will take charge of this afternoon’s clash between Queens Park Rangers and Charlton Athletic

The Madley family has somewhat come to prominence in recent times in refereeing circles – while Andrew remains a National List official since 2011 – his brother Bobby has joined the Select List.

Rangers have already had Madley oversee a victory this season – against Reading – while he has also presided over a goalless draw between QPR and Brighton & Hove Albion in 2013/14.

He will be assisted by Gavin Muge (Bedfordshire) and William Bull (Hampshire) with David Rock (Hertfordshire) on fourth official duties this afternoon.

Thus far this season Mr Madley has dished out 99 yellow cards in 34 games – giving him an average of 2.91 cards per game, issuing three reds also this campaign.
