Jeremy Simpson from Lancashire will be the man in the middle as Rangers travel to Bolton Wanderers this weekend.

Competition: Football League Championship
Date: Saturday 20th February 2016

Assistant: Nicholas Hopton (Derbyshire)
Assistant: Joe Clark (West Midlands)
Fourth Official: David Webb (County Durham)

An interesting choice of referee as Rangers are handed a Lancashire official for a match in Bolton, Mr Simpson has been on the National List since 2012.

He was handed the Conference Playoff Final in 2012 as York City triumphed over Luton Town before taking charge of his first and only QPR fixture as Harry Redknapp’s QPR progressed in the Capital One Cup at the expense of Exeter City.

Thus far this season he has dished out 88 yellow cards in 24 matches – giving him an average of 3.67 cards per game. He has also handed out five reds this term including two dismissals in his last fixture as Accrington Stanley were held at home by Carlisle United.

Against Bolton Wanderers he will be assisted by Nicholas Hopton (Derbyshire) and Joe Clark (West Midlands) with David Webb (County Durham) on fourth official duties.
