Speculation and gossip surrounding Portuguese winger Figo joining Queens Park Rangers in the summer have been dismissed as farcical.

A few days ago, the Inter Milan star was photographed in London promoting his ambassadorial role for the Stop TB Charity; however, his mere presence in the capital city was enough to fuel what turned out to be a feeding frenzy for the worlds press.

The 35-year-old, who is under contract with Serie A leaders Inter until June laughed when he was asked about his potential Loftus Road move.

‘My future in England? – It is a surprise for me; I don’t know what to say. There is nothing real, so there is nothing to say.’

Other rumours circulating Italy and Portugal suggest when Luís Filipe Madeira Caeiro Figo finally leaves Internazionale the Formula 1 enthusiast will be open to offers from the United States or Qatar.
