HARRY Redknapp has hinted his willingness to do more business early on after admitting interest in two players.

With transfer speculation once again engulfing Loftus Road for what seems the neverending amount of transfer windows – Redknapp is keen to add to his squad early in January.

When asked about midfield powerhouse Mohamed Diamé it seems that a release clause may have been triggered, given reports in the media today – Harry gave his assessment:

‘Diame’s a good player. You would love to have him here but he belongs to West Ham. Until the club decide they want to sell him for £3.5m, I don’t know how it works.’

Another of Harry’s fancies appears to be a player he brought through at Tottenham Hotspur, Jake Livermore. The midfielder who has had several loan spells to his name, seems a target – if only on loan – for Redknapp.

‘Jake’s a good player. He’s a potential, a possibility. He’s a player I like if Tottenham would like to do something. He’s a player who interests me.’

QPR announced Redknapp’s first permanent deal of the window earlier today with the news that Tal Ben-Haim signed on a free transfer.

There will I’m sure be ample opportunity for Harry to be caught leaning out of his car window as the transfer period moves forward.
