Chievo Verona forward Erjon Bogdani has distanced himself from speculation that he is on the verge of moving to W12.

The Albanian forward scored against the R`s for the Italian outfit in a pre-season friendly victory for the Flying Donkeys and has courted the interest of Rangers chiefs ever since.

The 31-year-old forward born in the capital, Tirana has made 47 appearances for his national side scoring nine goals and has aroused the interests of other English clubs.

According to Sky Sports Rangers West-London rivals Fulham have reportedly shown an interest along with faltering Hull City. Championship rivals Birmingham City are also reported to be in the race for his signature.

However spending ten years playing in Italy he may prefer a stay in his adopted country with Lazio and Roma looking to persuade the Albanian to come to the Italian capital.
