Stew-Peas Ban Upheld

Damion Stewart’ sappeal against a ludicrous red card decision on Saturday against Norwich City at Carrow Road has today been rejected by the Football Association.

It seemed at the time that Stewart had made little to no contact with Ched Evans, and it was infact goalkeeper Lee Camp who made the majority of impact on the on-loan striker. Rangers of course went on to lose the game 3-0, which secured the Canaries` safety.

Nevertheless the ban has today been upheld by the Football Association leaving Damion Stewart not only banned for Sunday`s encounter against West Bromwich Albion, but also the first fixture of next season.

More worryingly however with Fitz Hall remaining doubtful owing to a groin injury, it appears that the man who struggled so evidently against West Brom at the Hawthornes will take his place at centre half, Zesh Rehman.
