  • Overall, it was dreadful. Camp in goal inspired the sort of confidence you see from a man walking the green mile. Mahon was truly useless and without resorting to slating him, the booing at the match was more down to the fact that Miller was subbed off rather than him.

    Why, oh why did we strat without Stewpeas, our defence looked like, and was, a complete mess. Our midfield was insignificant, but at least DiCarmnie managed to put away the only chance the rest of the layabouts managed to create for him.

    All in all, a shocking day, and the first time I have to say that I am going to crticisie a portugese manager who seemed to have lost the plot!!

  • I think Sousa has a continental head on him and in essence Hall is an excellent defender, but he didn’t fit and you could see that. Obviously he will reinstate Stew-Peas on Wednesday but that cost us on the day I agree.
