Former QPR boss Gerry Francis gave his reaction following the departure of Paulo Sousa.
Francis was covering Manchester City`s trip to Hamburg on Sky Sports when the news broke and didn`t think it was the ideal decision for the good of the club.
He said: “We have been hearing quite a bit about it – I think it was Dexter Blackstock that went and the manager said he didn`t know anything about it.
“It`s certainly not bringing much stability to the club. It certainly cannot help to get the club back to the Premiership.
‘It is certainly not helping QPR progress.
‘Over 18 months and six different managers doesn`t help the stability.”
Francis made 312 appearances for QPR in two spells scoring 57 goals – he also managed the club on two separate occasions between 1991-1994 and 1998-2001.
For all the news as it develops – keep it Vital QPR
