Former Queens Park Rangers boss Paulo Sousa has been officially announced as the new manager of Swansea City.
The Portuguese boss had been linked with the vacant post at the Liberty Stadium in recent days following the departure of former boss Roberto Martinez to Wigan Athletic.
The former manager in W12 has penned a three year deal with the Swans, realising his promise to stay in England following his departure from QPR for divulging confidential information.
Sousa took charge of 26 games with Queens Park Rangers after succeeding outgoing boss Iain Dowie, winning and losing seven games a piece and drawing the remaining 12.
This will be his second full time post having moved to Loftus Road from a coaching role in the Portuguese national team set-up.
