QUEENS Park Rangers have been once again linked with a move for Portsmouth forward Tommy Smith as the transfer window nears its conclusion.

Neil Warnock has vowed to bring in a few more additions before the window slams shut and the Daily Mail believe he is yet to relent in his never-ending chase for Tommy Smith.

Smith has featured four times for Portsmouth this season and according to the Mail the R’s have lodged a £1.5m bid for the front-man that has netted only once since joining last summer.

Meanwhile the News of the World believe that Fulham boss Mark Hughes is weighing up whether or not to allow American forward Eddie Johnson out on loan to Loftus Road.

The striker has previously spent time in the Championship with Cardiff City but has yet to score for the Cottagers and only bagged two goals in 30 appearances for the Bluebirds.
