Pakistan’s captain, Zeshan Rehman has been forced to sit out of the first game of their upcoming international schedule.

Rehman was due to skipper his national side in the South Asian Football Federation Cup in their opening tie against the Maldives in Group A, later today.

Unfortunately a bout of foot poisoning has seen to it that the Rangers defender will miss out on captaining his side this time out.

However on the advice of the Pakistani doctors, Zesh should be available for the upcoming tie against the holders, India, two days later.

Everyone at Vital QPR wishes Zesh a speedy recovery
