Holloway was pleased with the teams performance in the 1-1 draw with Plymouth Argyle at Loftus Road

He said ‘I saw a wonderful effort out there. There was one team in it and that was us. They got a goal from 30 yards and after that I saw us batter them. It would have been a travesty of justice had we not got a point. Their goal stunned everyone. You have to hold your hands up to that, it was an absolutely magnificent strike.’

The manager says we could have got the three points after Kevin Gallen equalised from a penalty after Akos Buzasky’s 30 yard wonder strike had put QPR 1 behind.

‘My boys kept going. We dug ourselves out of it and looked like we might get the three points, which I think we would have deserved. We wouldn’t have nicked those points had we scored a second. We would have pulled them out of the bag late but certainly not nicked them. I think Plymouth nicked the point.’
