Paul Gallagher of Blackburn Rovers has once again been tipped with a move to the Championship, but he reveals where he wants his future to lie.

Linked to the R`s in several instances in the past, Gallagher has turned down moves to the R`s in favour of Stoke City and Preston North End, the latter vying with the R`s once more along with Nottingham Forest for the Scot`s signature.

Gallagher however has refuted speculation that he may move, saying he wants his future to be with Rovers.

‘It just didn’t work out for me under Hughes but I want to give it one last try at Blackburn with the new manager.” Gallagher told the Sunday Mail

‘Hopefully it will be a fresh start at Ewood but if not a few Championship clubs want me. I also wouldn’t rule out a move back to Scotland.’

The 23-year-old has made 65 appearances for Blackburn Rovers, starting only 19 of those games, scoring 6 league goals for his parent club.

The Glasgow born forward also missed a crucial penalty against the R`s, when he played for Preston North End, as Mick Harford guided Rangers to a 0-0 draw.
