Ben Sahar, the former QPR and Sheffield Wednesday loanee is venturing out of Chelsea once more, in a loan deal taking him to Holland.

NEC Nijmegen is the prospective new home for the Israeli international, who started last season on loan with QPR, and finished it with Sheffield Wednesday, bagging three Championship goals.

Speaking to Dutch newspaper De Gelderlander, NEC technical director Carlos Aalbers, outlined his hopes of capturing the young striker,

‘The contacts have come through a well-known network, Frank Arnesen is technical director at Chelsea and the talks have been natural’

‘We will examine the financial deal with Chelsea in the coming days’

‘How large is our chance, I dare not say at this moment.’

The Dutch outfit finished in 8th place in last seasons Eredivisie, and will be looking to bolster their strike force for the season ahead.
