Queens Park Rangers are being linked with several new faces as the count-down to January continues

Jason Roberts is a name that has been repeatedly linked with QPR in several phases of Rangers’ development. Initially the link with Ian Holloway was the primary motivating factor before the club was graced with finances a few years ago.

Last season’s January window looked an opportunity to try and snatch the former Wigan Athletic front-man in order to bolster Rangers’ promotion-chasing fire power. The Daily Mail can apparently feel it in their waters that Warnock will go back in for the forward.

The inevitable Andy Johnson is as persistent as ever and once again The Daily Mail has established the link between Johnson stalling his contract talks and Rangers searching for the missing links in their forward line – rocket science must be their strong suit.

The People are of the mindset that QPR are willing to agree a wage of 90k per week to secure the services of Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka. the striker appears destined to leave Stamford Bridge after a new contract no longers seems forthcoming for the Frenchman.

One out of left field here as defender Niklas Moisander is being linked with both Rangers and Fulham according to The Star. The £3.5m rated defender would welcome a new challenge after several years with AZ Alkmaar.

More spurious reasoning from our friends at The Mail again as Amauri now seems destined for Spurs. I hope you’re listening because here’s the clever part – that in turn means that this move will pave the way for Jermain Defoe to make what would be a record switch to W12.

Apart from that, very little going on really…
