Rangers Under 20`s once again excelled themselves in the Coppa Carnevale tournament as they coasted past A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers.

The Australian side established in 1954 has first team affairs managed by former Leeds United and Middlesbrough midfielder Paul Okon and they are one of the pioneers in Australian soccer.

The most famous player to ply his trade for the side at Lambert Park is Australian international and Everton midfielder Tim Cahill.

The R`s coasted past Barry Walker`s Australian outfit 3-0, a result that epitomised the exuberance and confidence of the young QPR side.

Romone Rose opened the scoring as he latched onto an excellent pass from Matteo Alberti, Alberti playing his third game in six days.

The Australians made the going tough at times, but the R`s finally broke the resistance on 75 minutes with Josh Parker breaking the offside trap to race clear and score Rangers second.

The game played in the absence of Angelo Balanta who left Italy to return to the QPR first team squad saw Rangers go three up after confusion between goalkeeper and defender saw Antonio German grab his second goal in two games to wrap things up nicely for QPR.

Elsewhere in Group A Inter Milan beat Italian rivals Palermo which leaves Rangers in second place, above Rosanero on goal difference.

Queens Park Rangers: Nick Lee-Bulmer, Aaron Waters, Joe Oastler, Ed Harris, Lee Brown, Danny Maguire (Danny Davenport, 82), Terry Smith (Andy Perrin, 46), Matteo Alberti, Romone Rose (Cyrus Vanterpool, 70), Josh Parker, Antonio German.
