Queens Park Rangers have drawn Accrington Stanley in the Second Round of the Carling Cup
The R’s progressed to the second round following their victory over Exeter City (5-0) at St James’ Park on Tuesday.
Accrington secured thier path to the second round by defeating Walsall 2-1 at home.
The last time the two sides met was in the Third Division in January 1960, when the R’s defeated Stanley 5-1.
The game will be played at Loftus Road on the week commencing Monday August 24 2009 and it will be the first time that the R’s have faced Accrington in a cup competition.
