Winger Wayne Routledge made his way to the top of the table for assists after another stunning display last night.

The wide-man has spent most of his recent performances in the middle of the park playing off lone front-man Jay Simpson.

It seems to be a role he has relished as his assist count has rocketed in recent weeks to put him top of the pile.

More sterling work last night saw him hit the top spot with seven assists thus far in the Championship, topping Chris Burke of Cardiff City and Graham Dorrans of West Bromwich Albion.

Meanwhile Rangers are still one of the more unlucky sides in the Championship hitting the woodwork nine times so far this season.

Adel Taarabt is unsurprisingly top of the Rangers shot count hitting 13 shots on target and 15 off, hitting the woodwork once.
