Roman Pavlyuchenko has put several clubs on alert after conceding he needs to leave Tottenham Hotspur but looks to remain in London.

The Russian forward has made no secret of his frustration at White Hart Lane and has been linked with a move to Loftus Road several times previously.

Despite his agent previously denying the links it seems that a move to W12 could still be a possibility if reports today are to be believed.

Pavyluchenko stated: It would be silly of me to hide that I find life in London much better.

‘People here live the right way unlike us, back in Russia.’

The striker has told the Russian media that Harry Redknapp is not telling the truth when it comes to his future, and despite stating he does not want to lose him, the striker has stated he is resigned to leaving.

The 29-year-old has made only two appearances for Spurs this campaign and would seemingly welcome a deal to take him away from Tottenham in January.

  • harry is lying – he wants him gone as long as we can get someone else in. He says he wants to keep everyone to keep their price higher… if he said he thought he was crap and wanted to get rid the value would be recduced

  • Actions speak louder than words though don’t they? You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to work out he is surplus to requirements at Spurs, but would he join QPR – without at least matching his wages, I have my doubts.

  • Pav wants first team action. realisticaly he is way down the pecking order at Spurs. A move to Rangers might bring him back to life in a City he is clearly happy in. He is loyal when shown affection and although he often does not seem to bothered on the field of play it is just his style (which infuriates most THFC fans). Most decent Russians are quiet but efficient, I know my girlfriend is from Vladivostock. I think a move to West london might suit all concerned
